The property was easily accessible, great area for solo travelers using transit. The check in/out process was smooth. Room could've been cleaner and a daily turndown service would be nice. Property could use some cosmetic upgrades such as paint. However, bed was comfortable.

This could easily become my go to place to stay when NYC hotels are outrageously priced. The Journal Square train station being so close to the property was everything!! Having a full kitchen is also a deal breaker for me, however the cupboards in my room (402) were pretty much empty. There were no pots or pans to utilize the stove top or the oven. In addition there were no forks or cups. Luckily there was ONE dessert size plate that enabled me to reheat leftovers.

We stayed here for three nights while exploring NYC. The location was convenient and very close to the PATH station, which was definitely the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall quality of the room were disappointing. When we arrived, it appeared that the room had only been surface-level cleaned and had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were crumbs along the trim, a Brazilian mini flag wedged into the TV stand, and the blinds did not close properly, meaning people outside could see directly into our room. Overall, I did not feel clean staying here. There was also construction in the building next door that was very loud during our stay. I understand that this was outside of the property’s control, so I don’t necessarily hold that against the property, but it did make the stay less enjoyable. For the price we paid, I expected a much cleaner room and better overall quality. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here. The only real positive was the convenient location near the PATH station.

We booked this hotel for its location, it’s pretty close by to journal station (PATH), probably 3-5mins walk. It’s also surrounded by several Indian and Asian small restaurants and grocery stores. Parking was not available at the property, so I did roadside parking for in an out only. Rooms were large and service was ok too. There was a big building in construction just opposite to it (maybe 15-20ft away only), this was in end June 2026. Overall this place doesn’t give hotel like vibes but is good for someone who wants to save money by staying in Jersey city when visiting Manhattan.

!MUST READ! Very good and clean hotel!! Great location too. Very kind and helpful staff, they let us check in 3 hours early! Honestly traveling alone as girls, I was worried when I saw reviews because of the misunderstandings. It was very clean, no bugs or anything, smelled good, AC was on, they had an amazing kitchen, w a full fridge! Ive never seen full fridges even in a apartment hotel, it was a great touch for families! Got a full microwave aswell, silverware, plates, water was hot, we wanted water at 2am, and they didn’t have any in stock, but right away after 1 minute ran and got us more than we asked for. Staff was very helpful! The maintenance consider your stay time and made sure towels and things are stocked up till your stay time, so you dont have to additionally ask for more towels or items which i loved. I always go to name brand hotels, and always have to call and ask or go myself to get refills of towels. The bed was super comfy, great for relaxing after NYC walking. The area itself was very safe for girls or even families, i left to grab food instead of ordering delivery at 12am, and everything was safe, no one bothered and families were even still out. 10/10 would recommend and Id 100% come back!
