โWe went to a concert in the town hall. The hotel is just across the road so couldn't be more convenient. Breakfast was very good. There are only 6 parking spaces which are quite tight but alternatively there is a big carpark next door. We will definitely return. โ
โWhat a little Gem. Everything was perfect. All the staff were so friendly and professional. The food was excellent, we had dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea. The room was stunning with everything we needed.

โUnfortunately the four glass recycling bins at the back of the property were emptied early in the morning, creating great noise and waking us up. Otherwise OK.โ
โThe monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction.โ
โThe staff were great and the food good. There was a lovely garden area we could have drinks in. There was no decent decaffeinated coffee for breakfast only nasty instant. Why? Our room was nice but there as no air conditioning and the windows were high up so we had to stand in a chair to open them. One didnโt open. Itโs not healthy not to be able to have fresh air in a room. โ
โConvenient good value hotel. Spacious clean room in good condition with large comfy bed. Although very close to M62 the double and secondary glazing did a great job to keep the traffic noise out. The included breakfast was grab and go style but the bacon sandwich was hot and well-filled, good choice of other items. We used for a music event in Halifax, and will very probably use next time!โ
