The Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were super spacious. We booked for family of four. We were allocated two rooms which we felt wasn’t necessary. Kids loved the pool and the view is great. It was walking distance to local cafes and shops. There was also a funfair across the road which was great for kids. Overall great stay but one room was more than enough to accommodate two adults and three children."

"Lovely new hotel in a great location, with beautiful views across the bay.. All staff were helpful and friendly, particularly attentive in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was really good (great Gluten Free options too for my Coeliac daughter) and the breakfast on offer was superb! The rooms are modern, clean and luxurious. The nicest pillows and duvet I have ever encountered in a hotel. ⭐️ My only criticism was that the air con was just way too powerful in the bar upstairs, it made being in there way too cold and uncomfortable, but literally everything else about the hotel was fabulous."

"Carpet s could do with deep cleaning,I had trouble having a bulging disk been on top floor parking when fully booked was a nightmare, could do with small extension for fan as can’t get it close to you, but everything said I had a lovely time definitely will be coming again, loved the pool will be back definitely"

"I really can't fault the Cimon, we had a fantastic stay here. Julia and Jamie were so welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. All of the staff took the time to talk to us, one even offering to cut up my daughter's breakfast for her. They all made a fuss of my little girl who absolutely loved Jamie and is still talking about him playing with her toy cheetah. The pool made it for us (especially to cool down on arrival after travelling) and it had such a lovely well kept garden which was very pleasant to sit in with flowers, plants and comfortable patio furniture. Julia's breakfast was so good and she used chives from her own garden. The omelette was especially good! My daughter certainly took advantage of helping herself to lots of breakfast! We loved seeing all the different cacti around the guest house. Everyday we looked at the puzzle on the table coming together to create a picture of the guest house. My daughter also enjoyed playing with a gruffalo puzzle in the lounge area. The rooms have everything you need and were clean with tea, coffee and biscuits refilled daily. The beds were comfortable and we preferred staying in smaller accommodation. It was quieter at night than previous larger hotels we've stayed in and we could get a good night's sleep. We've really enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Cimon to anyone! We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely holiday :)"
