"Great location "

"This hotel is in a great location. It was very clean. However, we had friends staying on a different floor and we could not go to their floor or vice versa. We asked at the front desk how we could access their floor and we were told we couldn’t. We had to meet in the lobby. Frustrating. The complimentary breakfast buffet was good. However the staff/manager at the hostess stand were very difficult to deal with. We asks for a table for 4 as our friends who were in another floor were going to join us. They would not seat us until all of us were physically standing together. One staff member lectured us on how busy the restaurant was and that we needed to step out of line and wait. It was very embarrassing. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels over the years. We have never had an experience like this. We will not go back to this property nor will we recommend it to any of our friends. "

"Amenities were acceptable but not more. No glass in the bathroom and only 2 cardboard cups for coffee. The water flow in the bathroom only a trickle. Thermostat does not seem to be attached to the HVAC system, the room was very warm despite having the thermostat at 16'C"

"No we didn’t use the room bar or shop in any near by stores. The hotel is located very close to the Colossus Mall which provides great dining and shopping. "

"This two-storey apartment hotel was clean, comfortable bed, nice linens and towels, high ceilings. It is located in a quiet residential area, easy access from Sheppard Ave E. I had a Queen with kitchenette unit - very spacious living, workspace and eating area. The bedroom had adequate space, an armoire for clothes, a safe. There was a TV in both the living area and the bedroom. I did not use them, though. The bathroom was updated and clean. Smallish counter but large cupboard under the sink. I'm not sure if there is elevator access to the second floor but the staircase is wide and well-lit. This property is in a very good location for access to North York/ Don Mills. Parking is on the side of the building. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Good value."

"It would have been better to know that there was a young hockey tournament staying at Hotel which was very noisy and I wish we were moved to a more quieter floor."

"Room on first floor we initially got was lackluster, but they happily switched us to a room on the sixth floor, which was absolutely incredible with natural light and a much cleaner decor Thank you very much Monte Carlo!"
