It is unique for it's traditional Japanese-style room by removing shoes at the door and putting on the provided house shoes/slippers; it is not modern but it was very clean, bed is comfortable, table with couch-type seating, and an additional sitting couch--2 couches (although smaller in size but very adequate; and provided great amenities; free laundry with laundry soap. All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...
