"Wonderful choice; however, I had some misgivings pulling up because of the gas station out front, which seemed weird. Apparently I hadn't read that it was a truck stop with a hotel. Glad I missed that detail because my bias would have made me skip over this hotel. Instead, we got a nice room, great shuttle service (used to drop off rental car the night before and then to the airport the next morning), and had a choice of food options all under the same roof - deli with made to order sandwiches (we split a yummy Italian), convenience store (with the usual + beer and wine selections, including a small cold storage area for the beer) + restaurant. We opted for the deli because we wanted to put our feet up and fully relax. The truck stop also has a small theater, which was playing Practical Magic 2. We were told it's $5 for tickets (ask at the hotel) and often you get the entire theater to yourselves. It was tempting, but the bed was calling harder. Everyone was super friendly although isn't that the Oregon way?"
