โI used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that.
The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem.
However, due to the Tavern's history the water facility was quite noisy. When I flushed...
โHighly recommended the hotel. The environment of the hotel is excellent and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. My child like the playground and I enjoy the view around. Plenty of free parking space which is very convenient. The breakfast nearby is also wonderful and hotel resident got 10%off. We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. The seafood skewer is very nice. No discount for residents though. โ
โFantastic property and hosts. Breakfast, facilities and location are great. Linda and Steve made us very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at Torwood House. Just beware that there is no off street parking at this property and we were unfortunate to be there on the weekend of the food festival that made street parking difficult. โOne night stay for a flying visit. Rooms are quite tired but perfectly functional.
Bar was really nice and they were showing the football. Really nice atmosphere in there, lots of holiday makers and food looked good.
Breakfast was awesome. Didn't need to eat the rest of the day!

โThe hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!โ
