Key West, Florida hotel rooms at the Sandman Hotels

"No where to park at all for mile.. older people never told us that . Didnt have enough room so really didnt even go inside canceled before becasue no parking "

"We had a great stay at Blue Flamingo in late March. We booked an “ocean view” room, but the view was partially obstructed by a pillar, and we didn’t really get to enjoy it because the window facing the ocean also faced the walkway giving access to the rooms on our floor — for privacy reasons, we kept the blinds closed. The staff was great, though it was after 5pm when the cleaning staff serviced our room one of the days we were there. The pools were well-maintained, and though we didn’t take advantage, I liked that they had ping pong, corn hole, and volleyball options for guests. They offer a free shuttle to town once an hour that you have to reserve ahead of time. It drops off in a good location (the Waterfront Brewery), but just the one location, so if you are wanting to explore other areas, you’ll need to walk or take a taxi. Ubers were plentiful and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a ride. Overall, a great stay! "

"Have stayed here many times. Love the pools especially the adult quiet pool. I am disappointed that I had to call to get our room cleaned. This is the only negative I have about this resort…the room cleaning staff. Everything else is perfect."

"This was our fifth stay at Southernmost Resort and the Avalon Room was so small. There was no closet, no dresser, no coffee/espresso machine and the bathroom was so tiny. We couldn’t unpack anything. This was a far cry from the oceanfront rooms we always get. This was a special weekend for us. My husband’s birthday, our Anniversary and my birthday. I did reach out to the front desk and the next morning, they said they could change our room to a partial ocean view, which was wonderful! It changed our weekend and made a huge difference! We ended up having the best time! "

"Fantastic property with amazing staff and amenities. Jayme and Mitch were fanastically hospitable and supported all of our needs at checkin and beyond. Free shuttles available on the hour (didn't use) make it easy and cheap to get into the heart of the action with the chill vibes of Stock Island a welcome retreat. Ubers are never more than a few minutes away and some solid restaurant options allow for staying away from the hustle and bustle if needed. Would stay again and highly recommend!"

"Service was impeccable with staff very friendly. Our room was beside the water with great view of the small island across the bay. Food in restaurant was excellent; better than i would expect in any hotel. Room rates are high but everything about our stay made it worth it."
