This is the 4th time we have stayed here and it is lovely as usual. A little bit of a parking issue was handled quickly. Beautiful & comfortable room and the location is convenient and walkable to shopping and restaurants.

The Smith Hotel: A Must Stay

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location near everything in downtown. The loft was amazing, interior decor was spectacular. Though contactless it was still easy to communicate with staff through their text service. Check in and checkout process was seamless. Wonderful hotel.

The Smith hotel is our favourite in Kingston. Easy to get to restaurants and the main strip but the best are the rooms. Beautiful, super clean with everything you might need. We love the record player and that each room is unique. Can’t wait to try a different room next time.

This was by far the coolest hotel we have ever stayed at! Weekend away without the kids, and this place was just perfect for our getaway. Heritage building mixed with modern day style and amenities was breathraking. We will be back again soon!

This hotel was really beautiful, clean and such a retreat. Contactless entry was easy and parking was also really simple. We enjoyed having the Bluetooth speaker, the toiletries smelled fantastic and the kitchen was set up perfectly. The bed and linens were so comfy. Would recommend this place for sure.

Just an amazing, amazing, amazing, outstanding stay. As a plus 50 techno peasant trying to check in, Alex at the contact us phone number was amazing. He effortlessly adjusted and accommodated and solved any of our questions in regards to checking in and or out. If you are a parent or grandparents or family member of a queen student and you are looking for an upscale amazing place to stay with a ton of space to visit and relax and soak in your time in Kingston, this is absolutely the place?

Great location and beautiful building.

The loft room was beautiful and had everything you need for your stay. Only thing to be aware of is the heating system does make regular noise and there is no elevators. For light sleepers, bring your earplugs. Hotel is located right downtown surrounded by eateries and shops.

great getaway home for two nights

we had a great stay at the smith hotel with a 2 room loft style with exposed stone walls, polished concrete floor and everything needed as if you lived there. the kitchen had everything you would need and the bed was very comfortable. only issue was the blinds when closed in the upper room would also cut out the light in the living/kitchen area below and not a big issue, the patio was full of leaves (it is fall, we know), but not cleaned for use during the warmer day we had.

Loved all the little touches - kitchen with quality, useful equipment and tools, speaker and record player were fun. Beds were very comfortable. Very pleasant experience and the location was very handy. Only thing we would change is increased air circulation - didn't really need it colder but needed more airflow as the air had a tendency to get kinda stale. Info on how to achieve this would be useful in the guest book.
