날이 안좋아 우린 오로라를 보지 못했지만 오로라 보기 좋은 호텔. 2박 했는데 청소도 해주고 좋았어요.

good hotel to stay.
We could see the northern lights through our window in the room as it was far apart from the city. basic hotel but very friendly and clean.

The place was perfect. I was also very surprised at the dining. I assumed that it would be nothing special but the meal was something you'd fin d in a nice restaurant. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety. I would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely loved our stay at this property located at the foothill of a huge mountain. A short walk to an amazing waterfall. Scenic mountain views with sheeps

Good for an overnight stop
Only stopped for an overnight stay but seemed ok. Breakfast was ok. Room was a good size. Had a problem with sink not draining and smell in the room so got moved to another room without any issues which was appreciated.

Beautiful scenery around the hotel. Waterfall short distance behind the hotel. Rooms clean and good size. Restaurant served great food. Very quiet. Walls are a little on the thin side so you can hear the neighbours but after 10 pm very quiet. Would defently stay there again.

Great restaurant for dinner and nice continental breakfast buffet. Offered a triple room which was great for myself and my two sons. The views from the property are gorgeous and it’s very close to many Southern Iceland highlights.

Worst Icelandic hotel we stayed in.
Great location but otherwise, the worst hotel we staid in during our trip in Iceland. Dated but relatively clean room; however the mattress was very uncomfortable. We went for breakfast at 9:30 (they serve it 7-10) and almost all the items were gone, just a few random remnants. Basically, the experience was like in a cheap motel BUT the price was almost $400!

We are very sorry to hear that you didn´t have a great experience in our hotel. We have taken your feedback on board and we will strive to make improvements accordingly. To clarify - our breakfast is served from 7.30 till 9.30, therefore it could be a reason of missing items at that time.

I didn’t like having to go outside for coffee when there is a hallway right in the main building. The TV was broken.

Very good overall, superbe location where you can see the glacier and the mountains. The breakfast was good, the lnly problem was that the bathroom sink was clogged

Small, friendly hotel set among farmland in a valley, at the end of a dirt road outside a small village. Peaceful, quiet, with basic but clean accommodations and a decent on-site restaurant which may be your only choice in the area. A few minutes off Highway 1 but very secluded, this makes a good overnight stop or base to further explore the surrounding area. Be sure to check out the spectacular waterfall you'll pass on your way to/from the hotel, and enjoy the sheep that have the run of the property too.

Sehr freundlich vor Ort beim Check-In empfangen (obwohl die Gruppe vor mir beim Check-In etwas nervig war). Das Zimmer war schön und gut eingerichtet. Leider ist das Gebäude etwas ungünstig in Bezug auf Schall konstruiert (Holzkonstruktion, wenn im Nebenraum oder auf dem Flur jemand läuft, überträgt es sich über die Bodenbalken; Türschloss kann man nicht leide bedienen und es klackt laut - man hört jeden, der in den Räumen im Flur auf/ zuschließt, und die Türe ist nicht wirklich schalldicht. Hört sich alles negativ an, doch nachts waren alle im Bett und es war in dieser Zeit ruhig! Das Frühstück war aufgrund Corona in Timeslots, man gab diesen beim Checkin an. Funktionierte problemlos. Das Buffet hatte nicht die größte Auswahl, doch es war alles ok und es wurde ständig nachgefüllt. Checkput wie Checkin - freundlich. Resümee: hellhörigkeit vielleicht ein Thema, aber Lage und Zimmer echt gut. Sollte ich nochmals nach Island kommen (dann im Sommer ! ;) ), mindestens 1 Nacht dort.

Camere belle e spaziose, posizione comoda
Le stanze sono belle e molto spaziose, la nostra stanza era l’ultima del corridoio e aveva le finestre su due pareti. La struttura da fuori potrebbe non sembrare il massimo, corridoi molto spartani stile motel ma entrando in camera la situazione si capovolge e ci si trova in belle stanze con grandi vetrate con vista sulla natura. La sala colazione che funge saltuariamente anche da ristorante è carina e pulita e racchiude anche la reception e un piccolo negozio con maglioni fatti a mano, cartoline ecc. La colazione è abbastanza standard se non per i pasticcini con la crema e con la marmellata di lampone che sono qualcosa di spaziale! È possibile fare il check-in tardivo trovando la chiave nella propria stanza e si parcheggia direttamente all’interno della struttura.

Great place to stay just off the ring road.
Wonderful quiet location. Breakfast was bagged but good with sandwich for lunch included. Nice views from the room. Comfortable and convenient.

A comida do restaurante é muito boa mesmo, bem como o café da manhã. É um hotel sem muito conforto, hotel de estrada para ficar uma noite só. No dia que nos hospedamos lá, choveu muito e um inconveniente grande era q nenhuma entrada ou porta do hotel possuía cobertura ou um recuo. Assim, qdo abríamos as portas ficávamos imediatamente encharcados, o que foi terrível para descarregar o carro / malas
