This property is changing hands as we experienced. No one to check us in & they had not gotten our reservation. We had to search multiple buildings on this property only to find a hostess at the restaurant to try to help us. After a half hour of her reaching out to her boss via his cell, we were told to give them an hour to have someone to clean our cabin-its dark, we are on unfamiliar surroundings & not close to town. But we go into town & do some grocery shopping. Come back, get in our unit only to find out there’s no kitchen. The next day we get in touch with this manager & they move us. We had no idea there were different units on this property-only what we saw on hotels.com. With no availability over the weekend we went home & returned the following week to complete work. These units are cute, relatively workable, probably last decorated in the early 70’s. Lake views, walking trail, restaurant, small gift shop/bait shop/boat rental but seasonal accessible. Maybe a good girls weekend place if new owners get it together.
Room was in great shape and close to actities I did

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The cabins on the water are beautiful. The entire state park is very well kept. The beach area is cure toy under renovation. The restaurant has good food and large portions. The boat rentals need TLC. The cabins are clean, but in need of a facelift. Renovation is warranted. Overall great place to stay.
