Despite providing proof that i had a service dog staying with me, and their agreement at the front desk not to charge me (as required by law and stated in their hotel policies) they added $100 pet fee and ran my card for it. I went to the desk to request it be removed and (again) show proof that he was federally protected from all fees, i was told to “get my proof out of her face “. All i tried to do was show her my ADA card. My service dog is a PTSD dog, legally protected by the federal ADA laws. I kept him with me at all times, and he was wearing his service vest and medical ID tags. The police and hotels.com are working on my behalf in this matter, but please be warned. As they have acted in a vindictive, illegal and deceptive manner, i fully expect an unpleasant response to my review, just as they have done to others who have left reviews on this and other sites. They have changed ownership since they received positive reviews on here (there are banners on the building that they are now red lion). The building needs repair, the breakfast is only moderate, but the rooms are still clean.
