“WARNING: only hotel in the world with a 16:00 check in. If you can’t be bothered to staff the hotel at least leave a key box like every other hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to waste waiting for 16:00 so checked into the Beachfront hotel in town for the same price and standard check in. ”

“The staff was lovely, friendly and accommodating with a last minute request. The 2 bedrooms were roomy & comfortable & motel had a well equipped kitchen. There was only 1 heater for 2 bedrooms and where the power point was in the lounge room it was in a bit of an awkward spot - i would just say in winter check the heater situation suits your needs when you check in - otherwise this motel is really excellent value & comfort for the price.”

“Beautiful place and owner is amazing person”

“Really friendly, we were made to feel welcomed. Small touches went a long way.”

“The hotel was clean and comfortable, except the water pressure was low and the shower head needed to be replaced. The restaurant food was great and all the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were lovely.”

“I have been traveling over 50 days and holiday park is always my no.1 option. However, the experience in Grey mouth seaside holiday park was terrible. The bed sheets were disgusting and no kitchen brushes at all in the commual kitchen. No clean cloth or rugs to wipe out sink, too. Recycling bin was far away from the kitchen and people had to put everything in the general waste. What the worst is that, the top10 membership benefit is not available. They asked extra payment to use fun bikes and...

“It was ok for 1 night, quite rundown and the carpet smelled kind of like urine. The beds were very hard, but a short walk to the beach and the Australaisan Restaurant. The price reflects what to expect”
