"Pretty solid stay! I just needed about 3 days when visiting Kyoto and Osaka. I was surprised that they wanted me to turn in my key every time I went out though. You need to make a reservation if you want to eat breakfast, I didn't go because it seemed like hassle "

"
One of the most unique and memorable hotels we’ve ever stayed at. You walk around without shoes, which immediately sets a calming, authentic Japanese atmosphere. The onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast was hands down the best we’ve ever had—an incredible variety and beautifully prepared. Most importantly, the staff especially in the dining room, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay truly special. Our kids had a wonderful time. We would absolutely stay here again."
"This hotel in Kyoto is a gem! Great location, clean and beautiful rooms, and excellent service. The breakfast is very good, and the on-site baths are lovely. We stayed with a toddler and found the staff very accommodating. Highly recommend!"
