Love the room. Very spacious and the bathroom was like a spa. Loved the shower and bath. Only thing I would suggest is a bottle of soap in the toilet room.

Perfect place to stay if you’re spending time in the Arashiyama Kyoto area. Everything is within walking distance, including great restaurants, beautiful temples, the Bamboo Forest, etc…The room was large and the staff extremely accommodating, helpful, and friendly. What a beautiful area to visit. Highly recommend this hotel.

I've never encountered more thoughtful and friendly staff in my life. Even in a country known for hospitality, the staff here shine brighter than all the rest. The room was amazing too. Walk-in shower! Lots of things to see and places to eat in walking distance. And the station is barely a block away. Id say it's worth visiting Kyoto just to stay at this hotel.

Place is amazing, visiting about 3 weeks ago, and it is very spacious, very clean, and staff is very friendly and supportive. Located a 3 min walk from Arashiyama station, 10 min walk to Bambú Forest and aArashiyama touristy areas. This place it’s absolutely recommended.

Small property but packs a punch. Offered a refreshing tea upon arrival. Close to the bamboo forest, but you can the escape the hustle and bustle of the sea of tourists. Rooms and clean and tidy. And very large! Would stay there again for sure.

The room, bathroom, AND the shower are probably the biggest of all the hotels where we’ve stayed in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. Did not feel cramped whatsoever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the Arashiyama bamboo forest. The location is perfect if you plan to visit the surrounding areas there

A lovely, quiet oasis in the middle of busy Japan. The best parts of the hotel were: the location two short blocks from the train station, the mix of traditional and modern decor, and the super helpful staff.

This hotel has excellent amenities (PJ, slippers, coffee in room, good size room, king bed, mini frig). The location is within walking distance of bamboo forest, monkeys, rail station. Easy taxi ride to other sites. There are breakfast places and dinner places also within walking distance. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

We stayed in this hotel while visiting Arashiyama and we were beyond impressed with the hotel overall. From the walking distance to the Saga Arashiyama train station, superb quality of the rooms, cleanliness, attention and friendly staff, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. No Parking Available

The room and location were excellent. However there is no parking in the hotel so you have to use the paid parking on the street. It’s close by but a little on the pricey side. Overall the hotel is great and comfortable.

The staff offered me a cup of tea as I was checking in. The room was spacious. The shower and tub area was great and included a rainfall shower too. The bed was comfortable. The tea and water in the room. The balcony with a view of the mountains. And it was so close to the train station. I would come back for sure. I wish I could have stayed longer. GREAT place to stay.
