Amazing and cozy little hotel in Dobrota, right next to the beach promenade. The staff is absolutely fantastic and they made our stay with them an unforgettable experience. Can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Alkima to anyone interested in visiting the region.

The staff at the hotel are amazing, very friendly and accommodating! We have had a lovely stay. The staff arranged the boat trip for us so we didn’t have to walk into the old town and the boat picked us up by the water a minute walk from the hotel. We also hired paddle boards from the hotel. There’s a couple of restaurants and a little supermarket a minute walk from the hotel, if not the old town is a 40 minutes away but it’s a lovely walk along the water, with various places to eat on the way. Hotel pool was a lovely addition and the hotel supply pool towels. We loved all the tortoises they have! We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for the 4 us of. I would highly recommend staying here!!

We have just returned after a 3-night stay here and we loved every minute. I had been given an upgrade due to being an independent travel agent, and we had an apartment including own balcony and hot tub!! We also had two bathrooms for the two of us as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and it was so quiet. It is about half hour walk into Kotor, although sometimes we got a taxi on the way home. There are a few restaurants nearby and a very small supermarket for basics. We loved our time and would definitely go back again!

The best hotel experience I've ever had. Beautiful room with a lovely balcony, clean pool and gorgeous garden ( with tortoises!!). Walking distance of the old town but far away enough to be utterly peaceful. But most of all of the staff are phenomenal. They were so friendly, really looked after us, gave recommendations, arranged boat trips and just couldn't do enough for us. We very much hope to come back again thank you so much.

It's a great hotel, very clean with a beautiful patio-garden area where you can have breakfast, and a pool. It's also a 2 minute walk to the seafront. We had many requests for the staff (can we get a knife to make sandwiches for our trip, can we get an extra towel for the beach etc) and they were always very pleasant and helpful. All round a fantastic experience.

About a 30 minute walk to old town. Just close enough to walk and just far enough that it’s quiet, the restaurants are not tourist traps and you can park your car. Jovanna was wonderful at check-in, explaining everything about the property, how to get to town as well as food and tourist options. Breakfast and pool area are great. The pool was our safe haven when the cruise ships made old town too busy and the temperatures reached 30+ All you really to know is that I immediately added another day to our stay.

Lovely stay at Hotel Alkima

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Alkima. Our room had a view and balcony overlooking the bay which was lovely to watch the boats go by and sit and read a book in the sun. We enjoyed the 25 minute walk along the front into Kotor town. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us, they booked a boat trip, ordered a taxi and gave us recommendations on restaurants. Breakfast included a great choice. Lovely family run hotel which I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Really excellent experience

I stayed at the Alkima for two nights & from start to finish, my stay was excellent. What stood out most was the staff’s friendliness, helpfulness & attention to detail. Things like bringing me a fruit tray both days, telling me about bikes, restaurants & running routes, and continually checking to see if I had everything I needed (without being intrusive)...I was impressed. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk between the Old Town & hotel - it gave me a chance to see other areas & it was quieter & lovely. The room too was great - super view, good bed, clean. I really can’t fault this visit. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Peaceful hotel by the Kotor bay

Peaceful location, ca 30 min walk from the Kotor center, many nice restaurants and a beautiful beach promenade nearby. Very friendly staff, breakfast better than average. If you’re not a party animal but looking for a more quiet and laid back atmosphere, I can warmly recommend this hotel!

Décevant pour le tarif

L’accueil par la personne le soir était très bien, la propreté des lieux laisse complètement à désirer... très déçus de ce 4* en plus, le spa est payant 10€/3h/pers. Le gardien de nuit est serviable. La personne de l’accueil le matin n’a pas pas observé un comportement d’un 4*, nous montrant la machine à café en mangeant un croissant devant nous. Le lit était très confortable, les toilettes propres en revanche, la douche était moisie et la bonde non nettoyée, avec des cheveux des précédents clients. Je n’ai pas pensé à prendre des photos mais croyez nous, cela ne vaut pas le tarif.

Great hospitality

Great staff, hotel, service & cleaning. Fresh and nice rooms. The owner and the staff was extremely sweet, welcoming and nice. Would stay there again if we’re coming back.

Excellent hôtel à 50m du bord de mer et à 5m de l'arrêt du bus vous amenant à Kotor Centre ville ou en taxi pour 3 EUR maximum. Personnel très serviable. Excellent petit déjeuner.
