"Second stay at this ryokan after a perfect stay last year. Location is perfect - on the willow-lined river street close to onsens. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Public and private onsen on site, excellent dinner served at the restaurant.
Air conditioning wasn’t cooling the room completely, but staff were accommodating with extra fans. Thank you Kaki for another wonderful stay."

"Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean.
If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night."

部屋にトイレがなく、共同トイレだった点は正直かなり不便に感じました。
また、夕食や朝食の時間について、何人ものスタッフの方から個別に確認され、その都度同じことを伝えなければならなかったのも気になりました。
特に残念だったのが夕食です。部屋でいただくスタイルでしたが、料理の提供にかなり時間がかかり、食事が終わるまで約2時間かかりました。大人だけならまだしも、子供連れで2時間の夕食はかなりきつかったです。
また、料理と料理の間も時間が空き、その間スタッフの方も部屋にいないため、飲み物を追加で頼みたくてもなかなか頼めない状況でした。料理の味以前に、もう少しスムーズに食事ができるようにしていただきたかったです。
スタッフの方々は挨拶もしっかりされていて、感じの良い方が多かっただけに、その他の部分が残念に感じました。"
