โThis is a wonderful Ryokan. The staff are lovely and the facilities are great. This is a relaxing small Ryokan with great food and we found it to be the highlight of our trip so far, wishing we stayed two nights instead of just one. The dinner was absolutely delicious and though it was a lot of food we loved every course. The private Onsenji were clean and had great soaps and shampoos. This place is a luxurious and relaxing spot that would be a great option for anyone visiting Kinosaki Onsen. โ
โIf you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city).
The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area.
As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places...
โFairfield Marriott is a global chain hotel, but Fairfield in Japan has brought it to next level. Room is very clean, even in Japanese criteria. Pillow and bed are very comfortable. Facility is good. I have stayed in two different Fairfield, Sero and Yabu. All of them just impressed me a lot. What's special of Fairfield is the location, all next to roadside station (้ไน้ฉ). Very convenient to enjoy local food.

โThe room was large and the interior was very cozy and modern. It comes with an outdoor shower with a hot tub. This is a small inn/ ryokan but the owners are very pleasant and hospitable. They even drove me back to the train station because of my big luggage. The location is excellent, next to the canal and very convenient to the onsens. I plan to come back. โ
