Great as a solo traveller

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here as a solo traveller, and I will definitely be back next time I'm in Kyoto. The beds are very comfy and the bedrooms, bathrooms, and common area are very clean. The place has a really good vibe and in a convenient location for public transport and food.

Very well organized, everyone was friendly, loved the no shoes policy and provided slippers!, the communal living room space with tables and couches to relax on, the large kitchen and refrigerator to access, and the rooms/beds were great too. We're not really the demographic for a backpackers hostel but we were after a good location at a reasonable price. K's met our criteria. We had a private room which was fine.
