Staff were absolutely wonderful! It was a nice small room perfect for 2 people. One of my favorite things was their delicious breakfasts, i high recommend buying it in the mornings. Wonderful stay!!! Easy access to kyoto station as well!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room provided all the necessary amenities. Despite our early arrival, the receptionist was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in. The laundry room was convenient, and complimentary tea, water, and daily towel changes were provided. The beds were also very comfortable.

Hidden gem near Kyoto station about a 10-12 minute walk. The rooms are spacious enough for 3 people as the rooms have a pull out couch. Staff and service was nice. Close to a lot of places. Bathrooms were also spacious, they were a shower-tub fusion but could have been a bit cleaner.

My family of 17 members all booked a room at the Shiki Suites.we had a pleasant stay and lots of dinning options. Rooms are comfortable for a family of 4. Great for walking to the station.

Good location, about 15 to Kyoto station, less to local bus stops beer week connected. Easy walk to many restaurants. Staff were great, very helpful very friendly and made our stay feel special. Highly recommended, would street here again.

They were very accommodating! We needed a 2nd room because with 3 adults, there was no privacy and they found a vacancy for us. They made the bed for our 3rd adult. The premium room with spa was amazing! If staying in the area, we would choose to stay again!

The location is very quiet. There are many restaurants on both sides of the main road within a five-minute walk. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute walk away. The room was very clean and large. There was no cramped space for four people and two large suitcases.

Amazing little hotel

Amazing little hotel in kyoto , we had a jacuzzi on the deck and it was lovely. Room was clean and spacious, quiet and the food in the little restaurant was excellent and cheap be careful we ordered a lot as the cheap prices fooled us into thinking this was snack sized plates🙈 we got a shock when it was brought out tried our best to finish it but it was a lot of food either way very tasty. If I come back to kyoto I'd definitely stay again was excellent value for such a large comfortable clean and convenient room.

Was a short walk to Kyoto Station. We were a group of four people so two had to sleep on the fold out couch which was comfortable. There is a small kitchen which had sliding doors to block noise from fridge.

This place was fantastic. The room was large with a bathroom and hallway separating the kind sized bed from the futon. The hot tub on the enclosed patio was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. It was a short and easy walk from the train station and an even shorter walk to the bus stop. 7-11 was just a 5 minute walk away. The staff was fantastic.

Staff were helpful. Hotel is 11 mins walk to Kyoto Station. There’s a bar at the hotel lobby that serves good sake and appetizers. It’s a boutique hotel so don’t expect the large hotel amenities. They have a laundry area which you can use for free. It’s clean, quiet, and in a residential area. Only downside is that there are not a lot of restaurant options until you get to the train station.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Kyoto Station, also only 4 minutes from the bus stop where you can catch a ride to the downtown area. Taxi stand is a couple blocks to the east at one of the larger hotels nearby. Although the laundry within the hotel is on the slow side (the dryer takes 2+ hours to finish), there is a coin laundry a few minutes away. Convenience store is also nearby. Easy check in process. We would stay here again.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, and it was perfect for our family of 3. My daughter slept on the pull out sofa and since it was a little separated from our sleeping area she had more privacy than any other place we stayed in Japan. There was a free shared laundry facility right across from our room which was very convenient. We never got a chance to check out the bar and restaurant downstairs, but it seemed nice. The location was only about a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station so it was easy to find great food options and get around. The only tricky thing was there wasn’t a lot of room to open our bags because the pull out sofa took up the living space, but we made it work!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and is close to Kyoto train station (about 10 mins walk) and bus stops. There are convenient stores nearby. Many restaurants are located in the Kyoto station area. The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful (no room service during your stay though, but you can ask for anything, like a chair of towel, from the front office) One thing to keep in mind is that the front desk is NOT 24 hour (8am-9 or 10pm). If you will arrive late, do contact the hotel in advance to arrange a self-check in (they have a key box outside the front office) so you a room to rest.

This was a good room for 3 people, in that we had a sofa bed in the 'living room' and a bedroom with two beds. There were convenient places to put 2 of our 3 suitcases. The room was clean, but when 3 people live there without daily housekeeping, it doesn't really stay so clean. The washer/dryer were great to use for free (English directions would be nice), but the lint catcher had not been cleaned in a long time, so all our clothes came out with lint all over them. We tried to find the lint catcher to clean it for the next person, but failed to find it. When you have the third person on the sofa bed, it pretty much blocks the kitchenette, so you could not really cook in there unless you close the bed up each day. Otherwise, great place to stay as it's close to the JR Train Station.
