Tiny room....the hotel gave us 3 beds for 4 people and there was no room to walk, old room, didn't look clean, ton of people using elevators at same time so wait time takes forever, staff makes you go to the front desk to get things if you need it like an extra blanket or pillow.

Nice room with a little table and 2 chairs (compact as everywhere in Japan), nice thermal bath (not mineral waters). Convenient amenities like vending machine, communal microwave, coin laundry machines (they should exist in every hotel in the world!) and a coffee and drinks dispenser. I would have been better to have breakfast included since there aren’t any restaurants or cafes close by. Convenient location for day trips, by a metro station and within walking distance (even if a bit long) to Kyoto train station

Wonderful hotel, close to everything ans really comfortable. Great for families. The “made your own cotton candy” station they offered in the afternoons was a hit among my kids. Breakfast was delicious. I Will stay there again the next time I’m in Kyoto!

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights, it was amazing. There is a public bath that opens til 1am, going to the public bath was the highlight of our day, it was so relaxing. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. A convenient store is literally next to the hotel, we love convenient stores. Walkable to Nishiki Market and Kamo River. We walked to Kiyomizu-dera, around 30 mintues. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Kyoto. Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo made our Koyto trip so memorable!

Very good hotel. We loved our stay here. Perfectly convenient to all things we needed - accessible to trains, taxi, near 7/11, Fresco and restaurants, hotel staff and amenities were very good. Very nice hotel

Very nice facility, and the rooms are fairly large for Japan. Onsite onsen and laundry are great. The breakfast was very good as well. Conveniently located near subway line and shopping.

The breakfast is extraordinary. It made us excited to go eat every morning! The care that is put into the food preparation and service is evident by the women who run food services. The room was small-ish but fine for a stay of a few days. The location was convenient to the subway and about a 20 - 25 min walk to Gion and some other popular sites. Overall, a good value for the price.

This is really a nice place to stay in Kyoto. I especially love the Japanese breakfast and the public bath! Will definitely choose here when I visit Kyoto next time.
