We love The Empress Hotel and stay there every time we visit La Jolla. The rooms are spotless and the the breakfast room is delightful and the food is adequate for a free breakfast. Centrally located, with an extremely helpful staff, this is our home away from home!

I couldn’t see the pool.
We did not like the payment method for using the guests washing machine. You had to sign up for an app , then load cash onto to the and hope it would operate and still have money on the app after using the machines.
But They were a excellent pair of washer and dryer.
