It is a beautiful location and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The owners need to invest some money into the buildings and transportation. It would not be my first pick. I stayed there for one night while waiting for my flight the following day.

What a wonderful place and staff! I felt so welcome ! Was the perfect area , close enough , but not too close to the main road . One thing I would have have put on my wish list Would have been a coffee machine in my room or access to coffee earlier than 7:30 , and a better fridge . Yes the rooms are a bit dated , but the atmosphere , view and staff made up for it !!

The airport shuttle was difficult at best. My flight from Placencia was delayed almost 2 hours. I could never get the wifi to work in my room. The receptionist gave me two choices and multiple passwords but nothing worked. Wifi did work in the main building but this was not very helpful.

We had a quick stay for an early flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed and kindly offered to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. I wouldn’t stay at this property again in the future though due to a few uncomforts. Their dogs barked during the night, waking us up. There was a bright light next door that illuminated our room. The windows are shutter style glass that don’t keep out the hot exterior air. They have a window mounted air conditioner that worked well enough but was a bit loud running all night to keep it comfortable. Lastly, the beds were not comfortable due to feeling the springs in the mattresses. As they mentioned in the description, we did experience mosquitos around the facility and in our room, but that was almost normal for our trip to Belize.

Winderful staff, very accomodating. Rooms are simple but clean. You have to let them know you are coming so the can send the boat to puck you up.

the room was not clean. the pillowcases were filthy. there was not a bug net as shown in property photos, i woke covered in bug bites from head to toe. i love dogs! but that doesn’t mean i want them barking from the porch of my cabin while i am trying to sleep. all that said, the staff members were kind and accommodating!

The property was run down and in terrible condition. Rooms had windows in terrible state of repair allowing insects and lizards in to the room. Bugs in the bed and on the sheets. We received many bites. If it weren’t for the very kind staff member we would have turned around and walked out, even if we had to forfeit the money paid!

A couple things weren’t clear when I initially booked. I didn’t realize this was a boat access only accommodation. The staff operate the boat across the river and at one point the host left resulting in being stuck at the cabins. In addition I booked because it said free airport shuttle. The airport shuttle was not free so I’m not sure why this place popped up when I put that filter on. The staff were very accommodating and helped get me dinner delivered and were prompt with boating me across and the shuttle driver was ready and waiting. The room was by no means glamorous and the trash from the previous guest hadn’t been taken out which I didn’t appreciate. The location on the river was beautiful and lots of birds for bird watchers.

This is my 2nd time staying here. One night on the way into this country and another night on the way out. It’s comfortable enough and i’m not very picky. Got a good night sleep and Kevin and the other stuff are excellent!
