Great accommodation for families with a pool, a dog and a nice restaurant. All sights on Sao Miguel are easily to reach by car.

Affordable, lovely, gem

Lovely, family run place for a very reasonable price. The little mini houses are spacious and we’re perfect for our family of 5. The place is just a 12 min drive from the airport and features an excellent restaurant on premises.

Hébergement en lieu même bien. Très grand lits double 2m sur 2. Autre chambre très bien . Sdb ok. Cuisine ok. Sauf peu de vaiselle mais équipe très correctement four, micro-onde, cafetaria, théière, petit grill. Magasin continente à 2 min en voiture donc top! Bémol c’est le hamman qui bugger, piscine non chauffe et les travaux au resto. Sauna très bien, jacuzzi aussi. Sauf besoin de rafraîchissement des lieux

Accomodatie heeft een goede ligging, als je ook beschikt over een auto (is sowieso aan te raden). Is een afgesloten terrein, wat gevoel van veiligheid geeft. Het restaurant op het terrein werd verbouwd, dus er liepen wat werklui rond. We konden gebruik maken van zwembad, sauna, bubbelbad en dat ook aantal keren gedaan. Supermarkt is op loopafstand. Verder niet veel verwachten van het dorpje daar. Goede communicatie met eigenaar (engels) gehad.

Bien mais humidité +++

Ce complexe de touriste pourrait etre top mais il y a quand même des points négatifs dont le plus gros est l'humidité (dans l'appartement 1 pour notre part) !!! Nos vêtement ne sèchaient pas, nos smartphone devait être "soit disant sécher" pour pouvoir charger, les fenêtres étaient mouillé à l'intérieur, l'odeur pas agréable... enfin bref humide de partout ! De plus, lors d'un fort épisode de pluie pendant 1 journée, l'eau coulait par les lumières intérieure du plafond (dangereux) d'une des chambres et le lit + matelas ont été trempés totalement... Le propriétaire qui était tout de même très sympa, nous a enlever le matelas mouillé. Sinon le reste du complexe est top avec piscine, hammam, spa, salle de sport et sauna. Il faut tout de même prévoir 1h pour le sauna et 15 min pour le hammam avant de pouvoir y aller le temps qu'il chauffe. Il n'y a pas de reception par contre mais certainement la maman du gérant qui vit la bas au besoin. Sinon l'appartement était complet au niveau équipement meme avec une serviette spéciale "Furnas" si besoin pour les bains thermaux. (Attention tout de meme à la proprete car il y avait des mouches morte dans les rail des fenêtre). A voir maintenant si l'humidité était propre à ce bungalow ou également pareil dans les autres... petite carresse au petit chien Princenza ;-) On note aussi un restaurant collé au complexe accessible jusqu'à 22h00 qui est fermé le lundi à priori (jour de notre arrivés) qui etait tres chic et bon.

Plus que parfait !

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour. Logement très confortable, très propre. Appartement très bien équipé. Parking gratuit sur place. Très bon restaurant sur place. Excellent accueil. Idéalement situé pour les différentes visites de l'île.

Der Ferienpark hat uns gut gefallen. Er liegt etwas versteckt in fußläufiger Entfernung zu einem großen Supermarkt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, das kleine Haus war sauber und hatte auch eine schöne Terrasse. Wir haben die Sauna und auch den Pool mit Liegen genutzt. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung 😊

Good, but somw improvement needed.

The stay was good, but we dis have some issues with thw air conditioner (not working for 1st two nights). There were a couple of days when the pool was not clean, and the last week or so, the jacuzzi was filthy. That is not acceptable. The owner's dog was often lose around the pool area, which was ok for us, as we like dogs, but might be a problem for other guests. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The first time we were thrilled. This time, we were a little disappointed. We were put in a room that was not really a separate bedroom/living room, no separate AC for the bedroom, so if bedroom door and storm type shutters put down to separate rooms, the bedroom was too hot. This "new" room needs some work. Also, parking for hotel guests can be an issue when the restaurant is busy.

Home away from home

The four days that we stayed at Quinta de Santa Casas Barbara, we had everything to feel like home, the comfort, space, kitchen, view, peace, quietness, very clean, private, well situated, very friendly, and location. I hope to return back again, but for a longer stay. I do recommend this place, you'll feel welcomed. I can't find anything negative about this place. They have a restaurant, but, unfortunately, we didn't have the change to to try it, we're mostly raw vegans, and we did hear good comments about the food. We want to thank the staff and owner for the perfect stay, it did really felt like home.

Parfaitement situé pour visiter toute l'ile, accès immédiat au 4 voies, grande surface à proximité, calme absolu, tellement calme que l'on ne voit jamais personne, réception toujours fermée, spa toujours éteint mais on n'a pas non plus demandé à ce que l'on nous le mette en marche. Le bungalow est parfait, spacieux confortable très bien équipé au niveau de la cuisine. Restaurant sur place. Bref on est ravi de notre séjour.

Kitchen fully equiped, although eating outside at local restaurants is cheap and you will support the Aezorian people. The people of this place work really hard to give you a pleasant stay. The attached restaurant is exclusive, the food is really good, you can eat vegetarian as well, it is not cheap but worth the money. The location is perfect for trips around the island. We were completely unsatisfied with the rental company Goldcar, the owner of the hotel arranged an other car with Ramalhense Rent a car, and I got a perfect car with enough power to feel completely save in the mountains and tis is really a very nice company with nice people who will help you if needed 24/7. Enjoy your holiday!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet, away from the noise of town and yet very easy to get to the highway and the grocery store. Other than the hot tub not working, everything else was as-expected. I would stay here again, no worries.

Super geschnittenes und Super sauber. Bequeme Betten. Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Tolle Einrichtung. Bad Wanne/Dusche groß. Super Service. Trotz Verspätung unseres Fluges um ca. 2 Stunden haben wir das Apartement Nachts um 1:30 Uhr übergeben bekommen und wurden vorher nochmal angerufen das jemand da ist. BESSER GEHT ES NICHT
