“We spent 5 wonderful days in May at the Belvedere. The rooms have an incredible lake view and are just lovely. The breakfast, included, has a generous selection. We dined 3 nights at the hotel restaurant which is absolutely elegant and offers delicious food. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The island is very small and everything is “right there”. Definitely a place we will remember and go back to!”
“Das Hotel ist ein typisches Grand Hotel aber leider waren wir von dem Zimmer total enttäuscht . Man vermietete uns ein Zimmer mit einer Verbindungstür als eigenständiges Zimmer. Diese Tür war so dünn, dass wir jedes Wort und vor allem jedes Geräusch genau hören konnten. Da an Schlaf nicht zu denken war, mussten wir mitten in der Nacht umziehen. In ein Zimmer mit schlechterer Aussicht. Beim Checkout berechnete man uns dann zuerst 3 Übernachtungen anstatt 2 und gab uns keinerlei Rabatt oder...
“The hotel bedroom was delightful. Lovely secluded balcony and view of the lake. Pool was great as was the dining room.
It would however have been good to have a kettle in the bedroom.
Also perhaps in the reception area a book detailing the trips available from Stresa with train times and interesting destinations.”
