โThe hotel is very clean and they give you free breakfast. The pool is also clean and nice. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The bathroom is spacious. The beds are comfortable and nice. โ
โHad a great time. Downtown and the beach was about a 10 minute drive from the property. There were also many restaurants right around the hotel. Would definitely go backโ

I stay here whenever I'm in town. They are doing major road construction right now, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

โCheck you room first! The first room I was given had a dirty bathroom, including a wet wash cloth in the soap holder. Completely unacceptable. The second room was unsafe- a used wash cloth was on the ground in front of the door, which was already propped open! I went back to the front desk to inform they still didn't have it right. I was finally given an accessible room. It was clean enough, though I don't think the floors had been mopped all summer. The bed was like cardboard.There's a Walmart...

โWe liked everything about this property.
We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it.
