"We had a room with the river view and it was much larger than we expected. We enjoyed happy hour and dinner at the beer garden which sits on the river’s edge. It was great people watching as everyone one went about their business walking the Greenbelt. We truly enjoyed our stay, so much that we booked another two days a few days later."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the General Palmer Hotel. Our room in the Palace Wing was great. It was the last room available so we were a bit apprehensive since it wasn't in the main hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. We wouldn't recommend for those having a problem with steps, however. The hot brunch was also good."

"Thank you for hosting my family and I! We all had such a great time on the property! Plenty of amenities and very close to convince stores and downtown. The Cabin we stayed in was well equipped with what we needed. Plenty of sleeping room, comfortable beds, pillows and sleeping sofa. Everything was clean and we had more than enough clean towels! Overall I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for more of a “camping” environment. Overall we will be staying here again!"
