“Nice place that it's notbthe typical hotel, rather looks like you rich friend has invited to his house.
Only small minus is that rooms have no shower, only WC.
They compensate with a sauna with double shower and a bathtub big enough for two persons :)”

“We really enjoyed our one night stay at Valtionhotelli. There are actually 2 parts of the hotel to stay in, either the castle or the outbuilding which can be accessed through a tunnel from the castle.
The receptionist, Wenla, was as welcoming as could be and very helpful.
The breakfast was more than adequate with a large variety of options.
