Road construction started at 9:00pm just out side our room and was still going on at 3:00am. We couldn’t sleep due to the loud noise. Every thing else was nice but that ruined our stay.

Well it was an amazing stay. EXCEPT for when I went to order food on the Friday night that arrived and NOBODY could help me. Other than that the rooms were great JOSEPH at the front desk was a delight!

This property sits right at the lake and has nice rooms. Our shower faucet had issues and the window shades were broken. The hotel has a fantastic terras right at the lake and marina. The staff is very helpful and the property was clean. Main negative point is that the parking lot fills up quickly, especially in the weekends. Overall, we enjoyed our stay which provides good value for the money spent

Pros: The location of the hotel is fantastic, providing a gorgeous view of the lake from the restaurant and our room. Housekeeping does a wonderful job and the staff is very kind and attentive. There’s a continental breakfast daily that provides items like bagels, yogurt, granola, etc. and even cookies in the afternoon. Despite being located on top of the restaurant, the rooms are quite quiet and we didn’t have any disturbances. Con’s: The parking it really small and competitive and property is aging and could use some maintenance. I’d also say the rooms are stuffy in the summer because there isn’t AC, but rather in room portable units so you don’t get any meaningful air flow. Id have kept the door open, but guests could theoretically walk across the rooftop from balcony to balcony and access rooms, so we didn’t feel comfortable staying u loved while sleeping. I’d also say the quality of food at the restaurant has gone down and I’d not choose to eat there again.

The carpet in the room was torn and dirty. Bath sink wouldn’t drain and towel rack fell off wall. There was an iron no ironing board hanging on hanger the information binder had important pages missing Very unhappy after paying so much for the room. Will not return

Charming, clean rooms and excellent hospitality！ They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies every day at 3:00 PM—which was exactly what I needed after a long day of hiking and kayaking. It felt just like home.

Staff was very responsive to any concerns or needs. The facilities are dated with exterior peeling paint and soil matted hall carpets. These are features and challenges of maintaining property in wintery snow environments.However this is summertime. When our room filled with smells of smoke from a nighttime possible fire, we tried to call the front desk but the phone wouldn't work. My wife went to ask at the desk. She flipped on the room entry light to leave, but the light was out. The staff investigated but no fire. However there was lingering fireplace smoke smells in the air. The staff moved us to another room without change of charges.

The room was excellent with great amenities and a beautiful view. There is a great vibe here that allows you to be happy and relaxed while you taking in the beautiful surroundings. Anytime we are lucky enough to spend a night in Tahoe, this will always be the place we stay.

The staff were genuine and attentive (complimentary champagne!!), beautiful views, fantastic continental breakfast and friendly wildlife (we saw a bear on the back patio!!). Would not hesitate to stay again.
