"Clean room, somewhat run down. Definitely needs upgrades. No way to cool down tbe rooms as the hotel had air conditioning tuened off for the whole building. Super hot in the room unless we opened the window. Then once window opened, we couldnt hear tv as it was so noisy outside. Didnt eat breakfast there as way too expensive for breakfast. Very convenient to a lot of things which is nice. Staff was very friendly. Online states there is a bunny petting zoo which they domt have anymore. Kids pool was gine but they shut down the slide for maintenence when we were there. "

"As I went to bed on my one night stay, I was thinking about what a wonderful review. I was going to give this hotel. At 10:30 PM I was reflecting on the Nespresso coffee maker, the good lighting in the bathroom, the comfortable bed, the lovely sitting area where I was able to work for a couple of hours and felt very at home and the electronic blinds were a very nice feature. All electrical outlets for charging devices worked well and I had a lovely sleep. The next morning, I enjoy a workout in the gym, which is very well equipped. This is when the entire experience went from five stars to maybe 2 1/2 stars. I went to take a shower and there were small dark hairs all over the tub and a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. Apparently this is where the cleaning ended because the rest of the room was immaculate. When I went downstairs for breakfast, I mentioned it to the front desk staff and they were gracious enough to comp my $11 breakfast. Upon my departure at 11 AM, as I exited the elevator, I was abruptly evacuated from the area by a manager, perhaps? There was a gathering, apparently their grand opening six months later. Conveniently coordinated to coincide exactly with the checkout time. This manager was pulling suitcases out of guests, hands and push pushing us into a corner where she thought we would be more “comfortable” waiting. She asked if I was checking out and pulled my room key from my hand. There’s more but I don’t have enough space "

"The location was great. Public transit in front of building. Beautiful parks very close. Parking convenient behind the building. No elevator to access rooms but our mistake for not verifying before our stay. Not a deal breaker but if you have mobility issues with stairs it could be. Not really a complaint but a garbage pail, dish cloths and face cloths would have been helpful. I imagine if I contacted the management they would have brought them. Again not a complaint! It was our first time visiting this area of Toronto and it was great. I would definitely stay here again! Convenient to all amenities. Felt safe, quiet at night, very nice neighborhood. Room was nicely updated, beds comfortable and bathroom very clean and updated. Very walkable area close to Humber College. Full size fridge and freezer was convenient. Shoppers directly across the street. Visited Rabba grocery store on Thirteenth Street. Staff here are wonderful and a Tim Hortons inside. Loved how quaint this place was. Definitely would stay again! 🙂"
