"Huge suite! Very clean and the views were amazing! Everything was so convenient for our short 3 day stay! Beach service was top notch! Alll the restaurants attached to the W were amazing! I would say the only 1 very small item I wish they had in the room was a full length mirror. And bathroom lighting is very dim so ladies pack a lighted mirror!! Other than that everything was perfect!"

"Caution… when I booked this hotel on Expedia it did not disclose that the property is under construction! I booked and paid for a balcony room but upon arrival was told that they did not have a room with an accessible balcony. They refused to put me in a room with a functional balcony (and the hotel was definitely not full). They told me that I have a balcony room, however that consisted of a door that was boarded shut and could not be opened with red tape all over the glass. I was also told that I booked 3rd party and they couldn’t do anything for me and they had to keep things open if their members wanted rooms… my friends are members of Marriott and they magically got a balcony they could use. Since I booked with Expedia they didn’t care to discuss any reimbursement and didn’t care if I was a satisfied customer.!! This is Very frustrating when I specifically book a balcony room as I never book a room without a balcony. That said, the hotel was very clean and did have a nice pool area. However, I was not a fan of how you had to enter the hotel through a mall and parking garage area.. sketchy and weird"

"Overall mixed views. Location by the beach was great. Facilities were good for the price point (gym above average). Staff were excellent and very helpful particularly in accompanying a late checkout free of charge and also moving our room due to a noisy ice machine. We had two main issues: 1) We didn’t have a single uninterrupted nights sleep (noisy ice machine, noisy fridge, very heavy and therefore extremely noisy doors from adjacent rooms). 2) There are a lot of extras you have to pay for which should be included. Two examples: parasols on the beach and beds by the pool which was super frustrating if the free ones were all taken. Also the staff frequently reminded us to tip them - adding to the sense that we’re were constantly being fleeced for money"
