Inn the Clouds and the town of Leadville are both incredible. The hostel has plenty of amenities for any type of traveler, and everyone (both staff and other visitors) were friendly and respectful of all rules. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to hike Mt. Massive and, eventually, the Colorado Trail. Thank you so much for a relaxing and inviting stay!

I was a 3rd generation Leadvillain, but we recently had to sell the family house in town. Staying here is the closest thing to being home in Leadville. Awesome community every time I go here with people out doing incredible things in one of the world's premier outdoor destinations. I always have so much fun here and feel so relaxed. This most recent time I stayed before running the Leadville 100. Met lots of other runners and people hiking the Colorado Trail. Hanging with them helped me relax the day before the race. Great book selection, too!

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
This property is old and is in need of renovation. As just a few examples of many, the ceiling tiles in my room had holes in them and there was duct tape on the floor of a common area where flooring was missing. It is also very loud when people use the stairs or walk around above you. Although I had booked a single room, the women’s shared bathroom was out of order while I was there, and I had to use a bunk room inside bathroom on another floor throughout my stay and invaded the space of those staying in that room. The staff person actually said I could use the men’s shared bathroom instead if I wasn’t squeamish. I would not stay here again, and felt it was overpriced for what I received. The only pros were the location, the kitchen was functional and that it is dog friendly.
