"THEY HAVE ROACHES. i can 100% understand ants and other sorts that get through, but when i pick up my towels from the bathroom the next morning, i shouldn’t have multiple roaches scattering. if i'm not mistaken that’s what i’d call an infestation. the walls in the hotel were so thin that i could hear conversations the next room over. you hear every step from somebody walking down the hallway & if the door slams shut it’ll shake anything that’s on the countertop. it’s one of the worst hotels i’ve been to & i’ve traveled the states for work for years. absolutely do not recommend."
"I loved everything about here except the food. Staff was nice and the lake view was breathtaking and relaxing. Everyone was friendly. The food at the restaurant and bar and grille was not worth the price IMHO. Hiking trails all nearby, water activities convenient and takes like cornhole and live music made for an excellent relaxing weekend retreat. Got a facial in the spa was definitely worth it"
"Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, the bacon and sausage brand were not very good (seemed artificial meat) so we went elsewhere for breakfast which was a disappointment but overall it was a good experience and we plan to stay there again when needed!"
"Everything was perfect. Loved the quirkiness of this accommodation and the bathrooms were immaculate. Only a minor detour for cyclists on the C&O and the nearby gas station provided enough options for dinner and breakfast."
"The motel room and carpet needs to be cleaned more and the walls also need painting and the window above the kitchen sink needs new kitchen blinds. The curtains hanging in the front window and the rod that holds the curtains needs repair. The chair in the room and the cabinet that holds a customer’s clothes needs to be replaced with a nicer chair and cabinet."
