Best Western Braddock Inn
6/10 Okay
"I appreciated that the room was spacious, with a large window, and the TV worked well. The restroom was also adequate and well-lit. Breakfast options were not as plentiful as some higher priced hotels, however. Part of the hallway did not have A/C, which made it very hot at times. We found one ant in our restroom and another in the lobby. Its location in La Vale is good for Cumberland and as a layover between Michigan and central Maryland. The outdoor areas are well-designed and include Nature, so I appreciated that."
"Very clean and spacious room; quiet even though located in a busy area; professional staff; noted the jacuzzi/hot tub and the pool, but did not use them; breakfast was varied enough and the food tasted fine (I actually really enjoyed the oatmeal they provided). Highly recommend."
"We were in town for a wedding and drove four hours to get to the location. I called ahead of time to request an early check in but was told that they do not offer that service. When we arrived at 1pm, the front desk clerk was friendly and was able to get us into a room at that time. The room was spacious and clean. We were able to socialize with other wedding guests in the evening in the spacious lobby, and purchase drinks and snacks. The breakfast was hot fresh and good. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again if in the area."
"THEY HAVE ROACHES. i can 100% understand ants and other sorts that get through, but when i pick up my towels from the bathroom the next morning, i shouldn’t have multiple roaches scattering. if i'm not mistaken that’s what i’d call an infestation. the walls in the hotel were so thin that i could hear conversations the next room over. you hear every step from somebody walking down the hallway & if the door slams shut it’ll shake anything that’s on the countertop. it’s one of the worst hotels i’ve been to & i’ve traveled the states for work for years. absolutely do not recommend."
"Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, the bacon and sausage brand were not very good (seemed artificial meat) so we went elsewhere for breakfast which was a disappointment but overall it was a good experience and we plan to stay there again when needed!"
