โLiked that it had EV charging. Very peaceful and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value

โA decent, pleasant hotel in a good location. Didnโt eat in the restaurant whilst we were there but heard good things from others in our congregation that did eat there. Friendly staff in the hotel and restaurant/bar. โ
โStaff are very friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced. The building is lovely and full of character, however the rooms are simply decorated. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, there were no parking spaces when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to park down the street, but parking is free in Long Melford so this wasn't a problem. โ
โThe propertys owner helped me book breakfast, which was beautiful, when we arrived, helped me with my belongings, the room was lovely and big, it's a beautiful town with affordable Uber transport โ
โThis was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

โThe gentleman running the inn was warm and friendly, helpful too as I had direction troubles for an event and so he googled it and printed it and for the next day I got there. A very homely comfortable feeling I thought. If I'm ever back in the area I will stay there again.โ

โWe had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...
