“Reception staff great. Breakfast Ok. Our hot meal was brought to the table 5 minutes after we sat down for cereal. Order not as requested which meant wasted food.Staff?”

Traditional cooked breakfast was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also good, with excellent granola.
Would have liked a separate shower, instead of a combined shower/bath, but that's a minor gripe.
I didn't use the spa, so can't comment on that.”

The staff on reception and in the restaurant were exceptional, we never really had any intervention with the other staff as we were a fly by night visit.
I would highly recommend this beautiful resort.”
“There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open.
It was too expensive as well for what we received. We weren’t even advised if breakfast until we asked about it and then she asked us what time did we want to book it for.
And they charge 10 pound for parking when it is free until 9am...
“Lovely hosts, Vicky and Bob, who kept us informed and provided lots of information on the area. The lodge was cosy and clean with everything you need for a break away; it really was a home from home and closely situated to the main area of reception, Jake's Bar, kids' activities, Showbar and pool. “A great weekend stay , lovely breakfast and my granddaughter loved the pool. The hotel is in the perfect location and had a lovely view from the window. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were cleaned everyday. The bar had a great drinks selection and there was good entertainment. To sum up everything added up to a fantastic weekend for myself, my wife and our granddaughter.”
