“This used to be a hunting lodge so it looks exactly like a lodge, with lots of wood. It is by the loch with a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately no lift to go upstairs so it was a bit difficult for my wife. The restaurant food was good but seemed pre-prepared so they can’t adjust the dishes. “We arrived @ Fort William on the Blue Pullman train & caught a taxi to this hotel, book in is electronic and we reserved breakfast for two days, 2 early morning calls and enjoyed a nice meal on the Sunday. We even found time to walk up Neptunes Staircase to the top and down the other side the scenery is fantastic. Ben Nevis was looking majestic.”
