“Unique building and garden”

“A fantastic stay- so good we wished we had booked for longer. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious - a rare treat on our trip! The beds were comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The layout of the hotel was fine for us- but may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as even though there was a lift for some of the rooms our room still required a series of...

“There was no convenient way to use the hair dryer with a mirror making it problematic. Had to move heavy side table to use plug. The highboy doors didnt close properly and swung open on their own (needs to be fixed). The parking was interesting getting up the steep hill, but we managed.”

“We stayed in the Woolley and loved the room, it was comfortable and characterful. Both the full english and vegan breakfasts were excellent! We really enjoyed the scrambled eggs too! We look forward to staying there again, the next time we are in Bath!”

“Great location and Bar and Restaurant ! Comfortable room great staff.”

“Staff in reception was friendly.”

“Lovely room, lots of useful amenities including Nespresso machine as well as kettle, bathrobes, etc. Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely continental breakfast. Just a few comments, only a low stool, no chair in room, no wardrobe, just 3 hooks and 4 clothes hangers, bathroom had nowhere to put washbasin, and towels on rail high on wall above loo, so difficult to get to. We understand the hotel has only just been refurbished so staff said they would pass these comments...

“good stay and very helpful staff”
