The place was above expectations. A great location, a lovely room with loads of amenities. Extremely clean and well presented and overall great value. It was fine for me, but my room on the top floor may not have been ideal for someone older or less mobile

Room was better than pictured, I thought. Bathroom was tiny, a heads up about that would have been helpful for accessibility reasons. Lots of noise made by guests upstairs, I think it was due to it being an old building rather than their noise volume. Had some really fun touches that I enjoyed. Location was great, in a really nice neighbourhood. I’d stay with Bob W again.

We did have an administrative issue but I have to say once inside the accommodation it is very impressive. Every detail has been thought of is of the highest quality and I will definitely be staying again. Thank you Bob!

Excellent location. Room was very small. Bed against window, no space to get into bed on far side. Shower small with sloping roof so my husband could not stand straight. No milk for tea, otherwise good provisions. Not suitable for large people or elderly. No lift. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Good communication with Bob W staff but all of our requests were unable to be addressed. Could not get onto WiFi and could not access TV

You can do better

The 'Pocket' sized room is impossibly small. The room was up four flights of stairs - with no lift. You are provided a code for the front door and then have to use an online portal to open an interior code and then the room door (via swiping your phone) What happens if you have sub-standard internet service? Our room door wouldn't lock at one stage. I waited 2 mins 30 secs for someone to pick up the phone - they couldn't solve it. Thankfully my wife contacted the hotel via What's App and this was solved quickly. What happens if you don't have What's App? It costs 30 GBP to have the shoe-box of a room cleaned. You can't simply turn on the television - it requires fiddling around with WIFI and a password - which is provided by the hotel. We couldn't get this to connect so gave up. It's a great location near Paddington Railway Station - put the effort in and find something better.

I loved it but I also didn't

I did and I didn't enjoy my stay here but the location is excellent. I had a front room with a lovely view of the opposite tree lined street. The building and room are very modern. The bathroom is tiny, and luckily it was only me so I could shower with the door open to let hot air out. The shower base also needed plunging so the tub would fill up which wasn't pleasant. I also had issues with the tv working, which wasn't a huge deal but late at night some nights I wanted to chill out. The bed was passable but not the most comfortable. I could hear the person in the room next door and their phone alarm going off and message tones which was annoying sometimes. I could also hear the elephants upstairs. Like most buildings in the UK the walls are thin and insulation just isn't a thing. I had no issues getting in with the Salto lock system except one night I lost one nights accomodation at the cost of $288 AUD because my phone was stolen on Oxford street on July 22nd and because they have the no key system, I couldn't get back into my room so that was a waste of money and I was not happy about that. I would prefer a refund for that. Overall, good location and pleasant stay but if I found comparable location at a better price I'd probably stay somewhere else.

Smart room in pretty standard London townhouse, when you look beyond the marketing. Nice area. Was in Room 001 which is adjacent to front doors / noisy. For all the tech gimmicks I couldn't enter room initially for first 15 mins until seeking remote help. Resolved quickly. Good stay but average for the price.

Fresh concepts with perfect location

Fantastic location, very clean & fresh concept with no desk check-in. Great value for the area. We loved this was a quiet neighborhood but still close to Paddington Station, Hyde & Kensington Gardens.

Nice

The apartment hotel is conveniently located about 2-3 blocks from Paddinton station. The area is super quiet and there are a lot of good food and pub options. Connecting to central london are super easy as well.
