The area is very quiet which is amazing that after the hussle and bustle of central London to come to rest at the end of the day at their lovely spot. Amazing view of skyline of Canary Wharf. Lovely Promenade walk jusy at the doorstep of the hotel. Very good link to central london with a bus stop just outside the hotel. Quiet , pleasant and spacious rooms.

Great location near the water, taxi and bus lines so no problem getting downtown. This is an older property with some funkiness with the floor and such, but otherwise OK. It is a quieter part of eastern London, but not far from Central London at all, I would stay again. We had a great water review from the fifth floor.

Had to change rooms 3 times as it sounded like someone was taking a shower in my room in each one. Took over an hour to get a room sorted. Lots of school trips staying with only one person on reception. Free shuttle ferry to Canary Wharf was great.

Nice hotel especially for the price. Check in was a long queue (due to everyone staying for the marathon), so they could do with self check in screens to speed up the process. It was also strange being asked to provide drivers license or passport as part of the check in process.

Everything about the hotel itself was great—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, there was an issue with the booking through Expedia, as the hotel had not received our reservation. Because of this, we had to wait until the standard check-in time, even though we had requested an earlier check-in. This caused some inconvenience, but overall the stay itself was pleasant.

the family room was surprisingly spacious with actually two separate rooms; location and condition of the hotel (hostel) are superb; a bit outdated here and there, but nothing that make it anything other than a good stay; perhaps more variety and options for breakfast ;) overall, thank you!!!

Room was good. Had a view of the Thames. Staff overall were very helpful. Position a bit out of Central London but good bus services to London Bridge and Victoria Station. Also free ferry over Thames to Canary Wharf. Breakfast was disappointing. A lot of choices either not working or not being replenished depending on who was on. Was an upgraded hostel but overall we were satisfied for the price.

Hôtel calme au bord de la Tamise, près des transports public. Petit déjeuné copieux. Bien pour les familles. Petit bémol, pas d'eau chaude au robinet du lavabo de la sale de bain. Et il y avait un trou dans le plancher au pied de l'escalier du lit superposé.

Initial problems with key card not working but staff sorted quickly and efficiently. Room bright, fresh and clean, beds very comfortable. Shame no pillow protectors though. Also no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which surprised me for a 4 star rating. Drinks machine at reception for additional charge Great location, would stay again

We stayed in a double room, assuming would still be similar to hotel quality even though A&O took over from Hilton. The check-in process was a nightmare, queues were long and understaffed. The room itself was completely lacking in any facilities: pillows were useless and collapses as soon as you put your head on (so ended up being flat), there were no extra pillows / bedding in cupboard, no phone to call reception to ask for anything, no iron (even though old iron holder from Hilton days), no safe, extremely noisy bathroom fan and all round was pretty cold / lacking in insulation in the bathroom. Would not stay again.

When making the reservation, it stated "breakfast included" however, it did not appear on my itinerary. I contacted Expedia who were unable to resolve the matter. It took over 24 hours to get the remote control for the TV. Most of the employees were very helpful, there was one worker who seemed uninterested and came across as being rude. Beyond that encounter, the room was very well presented. The "bespoke" iron furniture was lovely and sturdy.

Overall would recommend. The room was clean and the city was easy to reach in not too much time. The building is quite old and there are flaws like the elevators getting stuck and it was a bit hard to find the rooms. Except from that the room are quite modern, clean and big (we were in the family room which was very big). Staff was mostly friendly with one exception when we checked in. I would say since it’s very cheap and huge that’s kind of expected and it was mostly self service which is obviously fine but you shouldn’t make your guest feel dumb when they have a question and the system isn’t working. Given the price performance ratio that would be my only negative point and overall we were quite happy
