Nice apartment. Quite area. Bit loud on ground floor as we were next to the entrance door and it slams when people come in. Clean and had a mini kitchen with a fridge. Good basic amenities.

Just stayed for 3 nights in B01, the basement room with kitchenette. Great location, quiet, housekeeping and remote staff were on it. You just have to appreciate the deal you’re getting for the location and the kitchenette. It’s older, but you’re in Hyde Park London. Gorgeous street, responsive team. The bedding could be softer, the pillows could be better, but for the price it was far beyond what I expected. Very safe and quiet with everything you need a quick walk away. I would absolutely stay again.

Thinking it was going to be difficult with no reception and getting codes for doors etc. it turned out to be really handy and the communication with the people via email was very efficient.

it's OK

Not too bad as others have commented, but not recommendable. The area was a little dodge, and the basement room(in which I stayed) was full of dust. But considering the price, and the fact that i dont do much in the room other than coming back at night and sleeping, it's OK.

The worst hotel ever!

This hotel is the worst hotel ever! Room condition was so dirty. Staffs in the hotel probably never check room condition. No air conditioner, there is only fan which is not washed. In the corner of room you can see web.

what a disappointed stay

My family and I recently stayed here but we were quite disappointed. First of all, most of room facilities were malfunctioning. Let me elaborate. I couldn't eve lock the bathroom and the drainage of the shower was awful. It was like flooding I should say. On top of that the main door's bolt was about to fall apart so we had to really be careful. Secondly, unfriendly staffs. I wouldn't say all of them are unfriendly but there was one particular who was not friendly at all. Whenever the staff doesn't understand what guests say, the staff tends to say "what". How aggressive and rude? Overall I would say my stay in this place was just dreadful. But the location was terrible. Its very close to Bayswater and Queensway.

Reception is a 5/6 min walk away. The TV remote did not work, two of three light build did not work over the mirror in the bathroom, house rules are on the line of concentration camp, in poor condition, dirty and dusty, no bedside light, It was not an apartment as all I got was a Fridge and kettle. The only plus was the location but with some many options in the area I will not be staying there again. It was the pits!

Dingy and dirty

Lovely area, however the room was dirty and the beds stained. Our bed was broken and kept threatening to break at any moment. The shower was broken and only pointed at the wall. The room was dark and dingy. Definitely not an apartment as described. Just a room with an added built in toilet and shower and small kitchenette at the end of your bed. Very loud at nice, people coming and going slamming doors. Didnt help we were the room right next to the front door. Was cheap, hence why we chose it for one night. But wont stay again.

Nice room and Location.

The room was fine and the area great. The only downside was the tv remote didn't work and using the manual button to switch on was OK but the panel buttons were disbaled so I couldn't vary volume or change channel. I had to switch of the TV at the socket.

No sleep due to a very uncomfortable mattress

The bed was so firm I couldn’t sleep. In the end I had to use the double duvet as a mattress topper and sleep under the single duvet. No bottle opener or cooking utensils at all. Shower head in an extremely Unhygienic condition!

I was upgraded to a different room that had another bed in it - I didn't ask for an upgrade and the other bed restricted the space in the room. My room was situated next to the front door which meant that ate arriving guest always made noise and disturb my sleep. Very inconvenient.

Check was pleasingly straightforward. The property was just a 2 minute walk away and the room itself weas clean and decently sized. Good sized and well equipped shower room with plenty of towels. Also tea and coffee making facilities and free bottled water were a generous touch.
