Such a welcoming and beautifully decorated hotel. The staff were amazing, genuinely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. A special mention to Soad who checked us in and looked after us throughout our stay. He even organised a special treat for our son’s birthday which made it an unforgettable stay.

We loved this room so much! Soundproof, sunny, huge for london, cozy bed and couch, great breakfast on the roof, and everyone who worked there was so sweet. Few hiccups with housekeeping, but it didn’t take away from the expertise. 100% will be back.

Brilliant facilities and an exceptional renovation! The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully well-equipped, and come with fantastic premium touches like a Dyson hairdryer, a garment steamer, high-quality linens, and complimentary coffee and water—truly everything you need for a flawless stay. I was initially a bit hesitant to book because the wave of perfect 10/10 reviews seemed almost too good to be true, but Imperial completely blew us away. From the exact moment we walked through the doors until the moment we checked out, everything was absolutely perfect. It rained for most of our trip, and the hotel was so incredibly comfortable and inviting that we actually skipped some of our London sightseeing just to enjoy the room. It was the perfect cozy retreat, and we cannot recommend it enough!

My stay at The Imperial Hotel in London was nothing short of AMAZING! From the moment I arrived I was greeted by champagne. I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel’s stunning aesthetics, immaculate cleanliness, and exceptional hospitality. Every detail contributed to an atmosphere that felt welcoming. The hotel’s design and overall ambiance were absolutely beautiful, making the entire experience even more memorable. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and everything was maintained to an impeccable standard. The staff were truly professional, attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding service. The on-site restaurants were another highlight of my stay! The dining experiences were fantastic and are highly recommended. Having such wonderful dining options right at the hotel added another level of convenience and enjoyment. The Imperial Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

The hotel had only re-opened after a major refurbishment . I only checked-in less than a week after re-opening. Everything needless to say was spotless and totally brand new. The staff were superb and well-trained and very helpful. Breakfast was a joy and the dining area was superb, a great panoramic view of much of central London. Probably the best hotel I've ever been in to date. I can totally recommend it

I genuinely had a really lovely stay here. I’ve watched it have a total refurb for the past 18 months and was looking forward to staying there. I wasn’t disappointed. The rooms were brand new, I don’t believe anyone had stayed in mine as the steamer was still boxed! Well designed, had one of the best sleeps in London (I stay for business), probably due to the inner door from the corridor. Breakfast was a lovely affair. Nice space, music a tad too loud but the food quality and service was very good. I had poached eggs on avocado toast, I asked for a side of bacon (which was a surcharge of about £6 - which seemed steep for 2-3 rashers of crispy bacon). I’ll definitely stay here again on business and would also recommend a leisure hotel.

Fantastic two night stay! High quality and modern full renovation of this classic Russell Square Hotel. Housekeeping were very efficient, room made on the second day as well presented and fresh as when we first arrived. The roof top bar and restaurant provides one of the best views across this part of London with seating ideal for couples to large groups. Front of house and reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Genuinely kind and welcoming. A fantastic stay with not a single thing I could complain about which is very impressive for the hotel’s first week of reopening. Would fully recommend to friends and family.
