The hotel's location was good - super close to Paddington Station, which made getting around London easy.
The staff were friendly enough, nothing amazing. The hotel itself was quiet, which was a big plus for getting a good night's sleep in a busy city.
However, the rooms felt a bit dated and could use some updating. While everything was functional, a refresh would definitely elevate the overall experience.
The most frustrating part of my stay, though, was the £100 deposit they take from your account upon check-in. While this is a common practice in some hotels, what wasn't ideal was the wait to get it back. Two days later, I'm still waiting for the funds to return to my account.
Overall, this hotel is a decent option for those prioritising location, lower cost and quiet nights.
However, if modern amenities and a better deposit process are important to you, you might want to consider elsewhere.
