We stayed for just one night before flying the next day. The room was spacious and clean. The courtyard and pool were lovely. We enjoyed the pool bar. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms at Hacienda Suites Loreto are about what you’d expect from a 2-star hotel. Nothing fancy, but adequate. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. Our room had no refrigerator, but more “delux” rooms did. We had to request our AC be re-programmed to cool lower than 78 degrees. Staff friendly, but some spoke little English. Daily breakfast was excellent. Pool and outdoor areas were nice with plenty of seating and shade. Rooftop installation of solar panels made afternoon naps impossible.

The bathroom was clean but in poor repair. Old shower with poor water pressure, no plug for the sink - just an open pipe and water damage on the walls. Doves kept us awake starting in the early morning. Location is not the best for first time in Loreto. It is far from most restaurants and the Malecon. Food and staff at the included breakfast was excellent. And the pool is clean and warm inviting swimming in January.
