"The Hotel was clean and tidy. Our had a very sloping roof wich made it difficult for me to around the far side. There was no lift and being on the third floor made it hard going getting the case up. Town was nice and easy to walk to. We were pleased with the air-con. No staff to great you and help at check-in We had an enjoyable stay in Verdun."

"It’s some years since I stayed in a Campanile and I think this one was a recent development. Very good , though rooms are quite small. Unpretentious but quite adequate breakfast, decent beer, very friendly & helpful staff, and even some simple pre-prepared meals, which saved us having to find a restaurant after a late arrival."
