MISERABLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. When we checked in, there was a ghetto, unprofessional woman behind the counter on her phone, not working while there was a line of people waiting. She was complaining about how someone threatened to call her manager, etc. Complete disregard for anyone but herself.
There was no bedding for the pullout couch. We called 3 times over a 2 hour period and were told to be patient although we are the customer with a child that needed to get to bed. Finally at about midnight, we had to go down to the front desk as did many other families. They gave us the run around and said housekeeping called in sick, then said they threw a load in the wash and would bring it up in an hour. They were even fine with some people going in the basement to find housekeeping or knocking on other doors to see if they had extra bedding. No accountability for where people were going to sleep. Worst of all, the same lady couldn't care less. She just ignored customers and or had an oh well attitude. Based on my observations, I'm sure this is her regular communication and attitude that people are subjected to. How does Embassy Suites have employees like this??
Lastly, the pool had a sign that there are only 5 people allowed in the pool at a time or you will be fined $100. What law is on the books that says that???
I honestly expected way more from a downtown Embassy Suites. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures. Choose Anywhere else to stay unless you want a hassle.
