"We were close to the ferry for the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. The subway entrance was across the street from the hotel. We felt very safe in the area even at night."

"The hotel was nice but the long delayed elevator made my hotel experience a nightmare. I was there for a week and on average had to wait 10-15 min for an elevator to come. I could hear loud children screaming and running around at 1am therefore the room walls are very thin. The best part of the hotel is the spa and the lobby is beautiful. Overall I have the hotel 3 stars since my ceiling had weird red paint stains splotched on the ceiling, my tub had long hairs in it and looks like it was never scrubbed and the thin walls were bothersome as I could hear everything from my room. The only redeeming quality was the very nice staff everyone was super friendly."

"The room was small but clean and quiet. Not enough towels but they brought more immediately which we appreciated. But that wasn’t the only issue. The bed kept sliding sideways off the base and we could not get it to stay centered and then the AC didn’t adjust to on for us and the room got stuffy."

"The room is very small. There is no walking space between the bed and the wall in front of it, it's surrounded by wall on three sides. This I could overlook being that New York is very expensive. However, I have stayed at other hotels in similar price range with bigger rooms, better amenities, and better cleanliness. The check-in and check-out is completely done on a computer, there isn't always someone available at the front desk. Everything in the room is operated by ipad: blinds, shades, lights, temperature, etc. Nothing is manual. That also means that if anything is broken or won't work, the ipad is the only way to use something. The blinds and shades were broken in my room, and I arrived late at night so did not transfer hotels. Otherwise I would have. They had no other rooms available, and they did not fix the shades. There were no slippers offered, or robes. It wasn't unclean, but it didn't feel crisp and clean the way hotels should feel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Only one member of the staff was not a good person to received the clients, not helpful person, didn’t take care of the people in a nice way. The rest of the staff was excellent. In my case she was being a bad person, I ask for my car, I paid 90 dollars for valet parking, next day I asked for my car and she told me 45 minutes to wait, and I told her how come it was going to be so long. And she say this was the time. She finished with me, then took care of the next customer, after she finished taking care of him, I asked her if she already called for the car, and she told me she was waiting for them to come to the hotel to tell them to pickup the car, I asked her to called them, and ask why she didn’t call, and her answer I was taking care of a customer, and the story go on. And wasn’t a nice feeling in my side."
