"Did not use the pool I prefer going and hanging out at the beach. The staff are great and cleaners are hard working. This place is super clean and outside grounds are well maintained. The food is ok but not superb. The burgers at Pepe’s are bbq grilled and very good tasting, it’s the only meat that is bbq at this resort, the indoor restaurant grill their meats on a flat frying cooktop, just not the same as grilled bbq."

"Overall our trip was good. We travelled as a family with a seven year old. I'll start with the hits. 1) the evening entertainment good 2) pools were good 3) rooms were good 4) overall the resort is nice, clean and organized. lots for the kids to do and plenty for the adults also Misses 1) food was really hit and miss. Maybe they just had an off night but the food at the Japanese restaurant was terrible. We went to the buffet after. If going to the steakouse, have the fish. The buffet? Well, some good some bad. you'll figure it out but there was always something decent to eat. The beach restaurant and the mexican restaurant were great (have the Pibil at the mexican) 2) the beach is basically unusable....so many rocks at the shore make it very difficult to enter. Bring water shoes. Overall was a good visit. Would I go to this resort again? I'm not sure. Its was good, but I might try something else next time"

"Ocean was visible but ocean was full of seaweed 100 yards out. Thick like you could walk on it."

"The resort was well maintaned and the staff were really nice. The kids activities were aimed more for 7 and under and the games room had a minimum age requirement of 11 years old. It would be nice to see more geared toward preteens. The scheduled pool and beach avtivities could be better planned by having volleyballs, beach balls, etc available all day for ppl to play. A mic to get more ppl involved for the activities would help. I really enjoyed the aqua aerobics and beach volleyball when enough people were there to play."

"No snack in the rooms such as (chips/candy bar) which was custom at majority of resorts I’ve been to, just soda water and beer… Also You have to go pretty far to get food if you are lounging at the pools. "
