The quality has changed! I’ve been there three times. This time the staff was very rude especially Barnabe who drives the Trolly!! I went to complain about his racist antics and the concierge didn’t even right down what I told him, but claimed he would pass it along to the family side manager. The food service menu sucked this year as many of the previous choices were taken off the menu. Room service repeatedly knocked on my door in the morning despite me having the do not disturb sign on. And the Hibachi restaurant food was great and I was enjoying until I looked over and saw a roach on my husband’s placemat. My appetite was ruined at that point. I had my vow renewal there last year and it was beautiful and Paula was most accommodating. This year we had a private anniversary dinner and she took me to see a second location just in case it rained… The forecast changed hourly so, I selected the beachfront, when I looked about an hour before the event, rain was back in the forecast, I messaged her to see if I could go with the second location and she told me no, it had been taken, and if it rained the event would go on in spite of the rain. When I began to complain she said she would talk to her manager about moving me into a near restaurant if it rained. Luckily, she was able to make that happen, but as much as the event cost, that should have been done as a courtesy!! Additionally, the food options at the buffet was poor!!

Went as a solo traveller in the off season. Resort staff was friendly. Food was good although not all restaurants are open every night but that’s understandable given how busy. Felt safe. Good mix of busy and loud spots and quiet areas. Would definitely go back! Brace yourself for not being able to swim in the ocean during the off season, which is far beyond the hotels control!

The lifeguards literally stalked and harassed us about vaping which was unfortunate, especially while hanging out by the pool bar. The drinks were not strong. No matter how well we tipped the service never got any better. Overall had a great time with friends and made the best of it. It was convenient to book excursions through the resort and felt very safe on and off the property. The food was decent especially if you get stuff made in front of you. I definitely won’t be returning.

First, the good stuff. The coffee is amazing, it's especially nice after a good meal without a $200 check to pay after. La Bruschetta and Aroma were my favorite. All presentation is elegant, even the buffet. I went with my best friends and we were sharing our plates and drinks the whole week so we could try without wasting. To avoid missing out, be prepared with a plan and make reservations as soon as you arrive. This was my first adults only all-inclusive experience and it was awesome. With our son, we did water parks, cruises or lodges, and I hadn't realized how awfully chaotic those places were. I'm bot Not so much because of the kids, but the noise, crowds, junk to buy etc. This truly was a peaceful getaway, like walking on the paths near the sports center or even through the lobby or concierge area, it's especially nice if/when you're recovering from a hangover. There's plenty of party atmosphere too, which I also thoroughly enjoyed, and the amount of alcohol they freely hand out is staggering. I didn't noticed anyone getting rowdy, plastered, or inappropriate. Which is nice because we were traveling without our husbands and I was worried about safety in general. We felt perfectly safe once we got in the resort, as the gate security isn't just there for show. They make sure everyone who enters belongs there, they want to know if you leave and when to expect your return. The bad is that it's worn, and not everything worked in our room, bad light also.

Do not go if on a honeymoon, it’s more geared towards spring break type crowd. Food is decent …activities at pool end at 5 pm. After dinner there isn’t much going on , the entertainment is subpar and boring. Beaches not accessible due to the horrible sargassum seaweed which is not the resorts fault but they need more activities during the day and evening. Some of the staff were polite but the majority of them seem bothered by anything. The mini bar In our room was never replenished with the liquor we drank, only the soda. The gym was very outdated and subpar, we used it every day anyway but kind of had no choice. The best part of the resort was the spa and their staff.

Pros: food, activities at the pool, nice staff, night entertainment was ok! and the whole stay was relaxing. Cons: no beach ( seaweed and smell), gym was outdated, animals are everywhere ( they were cute but sometimes so messy), ordering food through room service was slow.

Be aware this is a reporting Mexico. You are way better off if you speak Spanish. Check in was difficult at bast because I don’t speak Spanish. The explanation of restaurants, closures, etc. was not clear at all. Lots of construction. Lots of things closed. Beach is not available and they aren’t really trying to clear the seaweed. There are some bright spots but a lot more confusion than good things.

We liked the modern look of the property, the abundant wildlife (iguanas, deer, birds, etc.). The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Our room was very clean, and it had all the usual amenities, such as an iron and a scale to weigh your luggage upon departure. The entertainment was excellent, featuring a variety of activities. We had access to one of the sister properties, which opened up opportunities for additional dining options. They did have some vegan options at the buffet, but there could have been more choices at the restaurants. There was a very distinct difference between the adults-only and family properties. There were regular shuttles, $ 5 per person, to Playa Del Carmen's 5th Avenue shops. Overall, we had a great stay.

The property was so clean and all of the staff was so personable. They were all so attentive and friendly! From the concierges, all the way to the staff that was there for entertainment, the spa ladies everyone.

We really loved the tranquility and relaxing atmosphere! The staff were wonderful! Thank you Irari in the office for making sure we had a a good room! The Bell boy team, Enrique, Javier, and Marcelo were so helpful!! Rosy, working the bar at the pool, made the Best Mojitos!! Thank you all for making our honeymoon SO memorable!
