“Hilary and Oliver are so hospitable and warm and everything you can want in B&B hosts. They are so accommodating in every way. The breakfast is superb- fresh cooked to order Irish breakfast or avocado toast with salmon or egg. “First place that have stayed out at that can cook evenly on both sides and present hot! Suggest any visitors down size their luggage, as stairs are narrow and steep Weather was HOT during visit yet was not informed how to - if could reach - the attic window to allow better air flow”

“Loved this hotel. Great location, places to sit outside for a drink, 3 restaurants (though same menu) they all had a different atmosphere. Breakfast was fine. Liked the bar. One thing the WiFi did not work well in the rooms as you got farther back, so if you need Internet you need to make sure you are ina room that it works well. But it did work well sitting outside or at the restraints. There is free onsite parking”

“The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. “Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are dated and the bathroom we had was incredibly small. Had to bend around sink to use toilet. Breakfast was very nice with several cooked to order options. Beds and pillows need replacement.”

“Hi, Cong is a lovely village to visit. All the staff I met at Ryan’s hotel were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. I really liked how in my room they had managed to keep some of the original stonework in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep.”
